SOCIAL INITIATIVES through Mandke College
Community Service​
​
We regularly call upon volunteers for cleanliness drives in different areas and also to help the local bodies during festivals like Ganpati Visarjan, Pandharpur Palhki, etc.
No To Plastic​
​
We encourage local vegetable vendors, small and big shop owners to use paper bags and reduce plastic waste. For this we have set up a Paud Sakhi Manch which has over 35 women from Paud gaon manufacturing these paper bags, generating employment and making them self sufficient and confident individuals.
Tree Plantation
​
Till date MHHF has planted more than 5000 trees in and around Pune. They have pledged to do their bit in fighting global warming.
Traffic Safety
​
Every year we conduct a traffic safety drive where we educate and encourage commuters to follow traffic rules and regulations.
Blood Donation
​​
Every year a blood donation drive is conducted at Mandke College where students and faculty donate on an average approx 200 litres of blood.
